I ended up doing her sister's senior photos last year and this year was Melanie's time to shine!
We met up at Bell Park in downtown Houston - a little hidden gem that Melanie told me about. I was so excited to get to see her and her mom again and I even got to meet the boyfriend. We snuck in a few shots of them together as well!
Congrats Melanie! I can't wait to see where your photography love will take you!

We had a beautiful session in downtown Houston with many fun stops along the way. We hit some crazy traffic on the way there, but we made it! I loved getting to know him and his beautiful momma. They had such a fun dynamic and I was so happy to be a part of such a fun day with them. Enjoy your new chapter Anthony!
Our first stop was The Black Labrador. Its one of my favorite spots because it is so versatile!
This super fun blue door on the side is surrounded by ivy walls and there is even a life size chess/checkers board around the corner!
The old fashioned red telephone booth out front is another reason this is such a great place to start. So many options and such fun scenery!
This was at the biscuit color wall in Houston. I absolutely LOVE this location!
Its a fun little hidden away treasure that makes for a beautiful background for pictures!
We were determined to get some fun photos near Rice University. So we literally parked on the side of the road in front of Rice lol! It was a fun adventure to get these next few shots and Anthony and his mom were such troopers!
We couldn't finish our session without some great Houston skyline shots.
The sun was just setting and the buildings in the background were gorgeous.

This was absolutely one of my favorite sessions! Amanda and I have been friends since middle school and it was such a honor to get to capture these sweet memories of her growing family. We started out at McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park and ended up on Allen Pkwy for some beautiful sunset shots. I can't wait to hold this sweet little bundle!

Another shout out to my fabulous hubby and family for holding down the fort while I spent several days doing these sessions - and of course to Jenn Malone for being my wing man... or should I say woman lol! She has been such a huge help during my mini sessions and I don't know what I would do without her. Thank you all for making these little beauties possible! I love you all!!
